Supply chain automation company OmPrompt and Simply Supply Chain, the gold-standard FMCG benchmarking consultancy, are to host an interactive workshop on 29th February 2012.
The workshop is open to supply chain and customer service professionals, and peer-level colleagues working for FMCG organisations.
Sophisticated practitioners of lean principles in the FMCG sector are realising new ways to engage with customers. By reducing reliance on on-premise technology, increased automation and more efficient business process, they have freed the resources necessary to improve trading relationships.
Whilst maintaining service levels, these organisations have reduced processing costs by up to 30%, improved cash collection by 20%, and released resource that is now focused on improving the customer experience. The results are more accurate forecasting, better on-shelf availability, and reduced inventory.
