OVERVIEW

OmPrompt provides 100% connectivity for the entire supply chain; customers, suppliers and third parties. This connectivity is provided quickly and at a low cost.

OmPrompt automates every message format - structured or unstructured – and provides business process and management support, together with full monitoring and alerting.

The truly agile enterprise is 100% connected.

Any exception to 100% connectivity introduces complexity and cost, and can adversely affect important trading relationships. Fully automated messaging for every member of the trading community ensures that doing business, and not communications management, becomes the priority.

Using OmPrompt, connecting the enterprise with customers, suppliers and third parties is quick and cost effective, no organisation need be compromised because of its position within the supply or demand hierarchy. With a typical return on investment within six months, a built community can be automated in weeks without disruption or overhead.

Formats

OmPrompt supports any message format and any communications protocol, including multiple EDI or XML standards, spreadsheet, Word, PDF, fax, Web Portal and SMS.

Messages

Once the outreaches of the community are scoped and formats decided, the OmPrompt Messaging Platform is designed. OmPrompt supports all structured and unstructured message types. In some communities the message flows are a one-way flow of a single message, an order for example; in others, the messaging flows can be a lot more complex and interactive encompassing entire order to cash / procure to pay processes and essential message flows for transportation communities including tendering processes, ASNs, CMRs and PODs.

Business Process

The OmPrompt Messaging Platform incorporates business logic and workflow management; effectively automating business process to give huge savings in efficiency.  The logic could be as simple as some data validation or data cleansing but it could be as complex as concatenating messages arriving at separate times and from separate partners before setting in motion the next part of the automated process.

One Enterprise Interface

Only one connection or integration point is required to the enterprise at the centre of the community; this architecture significantly drives down set-up costs and ongoing maintenance; and any change to the Enterprise system - a system replacement or upgrade - can be very efficiently managed.

Community Management

The Enterprise can decide to manage the inauguration of community members itself or instruct OmPrompt to undertake or share that responsibility.  Ongoing management and maintenance can be approached in the same way.

KPI Monitoring and Alerts

Once the community is connected, messages are flowing and business processes are fully integrated, Key Performance Indicators (KPIs) are used to monitor and track individual or aggregate performance against target metrics including 'on time delivery', 'on time in full' and 'clean versus unclean deliveries' triggering alerts that initiate interventions for underperformance.
