Pre-Sales Consultant- Milton Park

This is excellent opportunity for an energetic and ambitious Pre-Sales Consultant, with supply chain experience, to make their next career step and join the OmPrompt team. You will be working directly with the senior sales leaders and delivery teams to evangelise OmPrompt's offerings and support prospects understand and visualise solutions and their value. Acting as a vital link between the sales team and delivery teams, and as a key advisor to sales, you will identify, capture and analyse business challenges and design solutions in a manner that demonstrates OmPrompt as a trusted and valued strategic partner.

Key Responsibilities

  • Comfortably and confidently conduct discovery and positioning activities
  • Demonstrate OmPrompt's solutions to clients and prospects including creating custom demonstrations
  • Run onsite workshops helping prospects understand how solutions can be tailored to their specific needs
  • Be the go-to individual for solution design based upon comprehensive knowledge of the client's business challenges and requirements and take ownership of all technical activities pre-sale
  • Take ownership of the solution and technical aspects of proposals and RFI / RFP responses in conjunction with the commercial offering
  • Help influence client organisations to consider the adoption of OmPrompt solutions using experience and knowledge of their industry and business requirements
  • Develop a detailed knowledge of OmPrompt solutions, technologies and processes whilst keeping up to date with industry sector developments
  • Work with Product Marketing to relay specific client and general market challenges and requirements
  • Nurture and maintain close working relationships, both business and technical, with customers, partners and colleagues
  • Support the sales team with account planning and opportunity qualification

The Candidate

  • 2+ years operational experience of supply chain, ideally in a supplier to retail environment and in end-to-end O2C and/or P2P business processes
  • Proven experience working with clients in a technical / advisory capacity including creating initial architectural designs
  • Excellent stakeholder engagement, education and advisory skills and confident communicating with both senior business and IT leaders
  • A self-starter who is highly motivated to learn and develop their skills and technical knowledge and who confidently takes ownership and responsibility
  • Strategic and tactical thinker able of identifying opportunities to deliver value and effectively work with multiple stakeholders
  • Have a curious and collaborative mindset who enjoys understanding and solving key business problems
  • Excellent analytical, presentation and report writing skills
  • Flexibility to travel (UK and International)

Desirable

  • Experience of data extraction and implementing business process automation
  • Understanding of SaaS in B2B
  • Natural interest in existing and emerging technologies
